Canon US files for bankruptcy protection

Canon got a glitch with its rebate program dated before November 14 on some of its video and printer products. Canon asks customers not to cash the rebate checks as it may bounce.

“Canon has asked US customers planning take advantage of its rebate program not to cash the checks they have received, following the company handling the rebates filing for bankruptcy protection.”
