It’s already Christmas time in Gensan!
The city of General Santos celebrates the opening of the month-long Pasko Sa Gensan Festival, with this year’s theme “Enchanted Gensan : Once Upon A Yuletide Season”.
There were drum and lyre contests with contingents from different schools of the city. Miss Gensan and Miss Tourism candidates also brought charm and enchantment to the crowd.
During the later part of the event, the whole area of the oval plaza was lit up by hundreds of Christmas lights during the opening ceremony and the sky was filled with a breathtaking fireworks display.
