For a while I have been shooting mostly landscapes and it’s been months since my last fashion and glamour shoot. I’m glad to have met Barbie during the Fairytale Make-over event at KCC Mall last December. She was the red fairy.
I’ve been thinking for a good place for us to do the photoshoot that’s convenient to go to and have something out of the ordinary, and so I’ve decided that we go back to a familiar place in Maasim, at 4ML beach. I’ve photographed this place a lot but still there’s always something new. I brought with me two flash strobes, including a slip on ring flash which I intentionally tried for a test drive. All in all the shoot was great, the sunset was just right and I have a great, beautiful and talented model. When I say talented, this does not only include her talent in modelling but also for the fact that she was the one who created the clothes she wore, including the bikini wear. I just love creative people.
