Earth.. our only planet is worth saving.

Rea’s post: Ten Honest Things About Myself
We should collectively plan something here in GenSan. Isip-isip daw kung ano?
bariles’s post: Brownout na naman! (SOCOTECO II Notice of Power Interruption I)
@Rea – Yes, climate change is a very serious global problem indeed. We should act today and everyday before everything is too late.
@bariles – First thing we should do is turn off our computers during that time :) wala munang plurk hehe. Seriously, for just an hour we can collectively create an impact.

Twinks’s post: Vote Earth! – Switch Off Your Lights For An Hour
@Twinks – wala ako nag change..same lang. check out my contact page :)
reminds me of the movie “the day the earth stood still”. the movie depicts about the destruction of the earth by human activities. the movie sends a message that we should “change” or make solutions to the “damage” we’ve done. without the earth, we are nothing.
change for the benefit of the world and the future inhabitants.
@m1k3 – yeah.. but here in our place, information about Earth Hour was not that popular. Lights were still on from 8:30 to 9:30 :( only a few people switched their lights off. I hope next year more people will join in
i noticed that too. only few people knew it. hmm… sayang. dapat united lahat. sana pinalakas ng local gov’t. ang campaign.
@m1k3 – probably next year more media exposure. napansin ko mostly sa sumali puro may internet connection, other than that, hinde gaano kalakas yung drive to join the campaign
oo nga e.
