Visiting Laguna

March 8, 2009 | Landscapes, Portraits | 645 views

Laguna is indeed a photographer’s haven. The place is just beautiful, its geography as well as its people. They are hospitable and you will always be greeted with a warm welcome. Even for a day, we managed to shoot in the streets, rivers and of course landscapes. The Caliraya water tower is one of its iconic structures situated on top of a hill with a man-made lake. This reservoir drives the power station nearby to supply electricity in the area.

What I like most about this place is that there are a lot of rivers and I love shooting anything with water, a very dynamic subject. Unfortunately with the little time we have, we haven’t visited the Pagsanjan Falls. It’s just about an hour boat ride from the downtown area but we opted not to go that time.

On the bright side, I have one more reason to go back in Laguna.
