Location : Caico’s Resto Bar, Dacera Compound, General Santos City
This was last week on May 1, Labor Day, yes we had no work. A day before Caico’s Mexican Resto Bar in Dacera, General Santos City opened. I was asked by owners to have some my Infrared Landscape photos exhibited at their establishment. So while deciding where to hang my works, I grabbed the opportunity to do a photoshoot for Romarie.
I used two Sigma 500 / 530 strobes here with a remote trigger. The fill light had an umbrella while I attached a ringflash converter for the main light. During the later part of the shoot when it was getting dark, I added a third flash for background fill-in light.
That afternoon while we were just starting the photoshoot, it rained hard but fortunately it stopped within the hour. The rain was a blessing in disguise since after the rain the air is damp and very cool. You can smell how clear the air was, for me it’s the best time to do a photoshoot outdoors.

I really like the first photo for I love the way she carried herself in that pose. Only a handful of people can look gorgeous in that pose. Mejo awkward kasi tingnan pag hindi masyadong magaling ang model eh.
I also love the photo where she is wearing the red gown, yung sa may door banda. It’s very classy.

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful. You’ve got the eye for beauty and yeah, you know how to capture them perfectly. Romarie’s expressions look so natural. Ang galing din ni Bobong ha. Ganda ng gown na ginawa nya.
And yeah, Romarie looked like a vixen in the red dress. But I like her more in black. She’s like a serpent queen reincarnate of Medusa. Love it!
Now that’s something.. from a natural expression, to a vixen to a serpent queen. Next maybe a Borg Queen from Star Trek.
Oh maybe I can ask Bobong to do some creative make-up eh?
