Canon announces the new Canon EOS-1D X Digital SLR Camera. The Canon EOS-1D X is re-designed from the inside out and features a completely new 61-Point Autofocus, 18-Megapixel Full-Frame CMOS Sensor, full HD video.
The EOS-1D X has three DIGIC processors, including Dual DIGIC 5+ image processors capable of approximately 17 times more processing power than DIGIC 4. The Canon EOS-1D X can shoot up to 12 fps but with the Super High Speed Continuous shooting it can reach 14 fps. This mode requires mirror lock and JPEG mode at ISO speeds less than 32000.
The EOS-1D X can manage extremely low-light conditions, with its ISO adjustable from 100 to 51,200 within its standard range. Additional settings can also be set for ISO 50 for landscape photography and two high settings of 102,400 at H1 and 204,800 at H2 for near dark conditions.
The Canon EOS-1D X Digital SLR will be available by March 2012 with a retail price of about $6,800.00.
