Canon 550D
Canon raised once again the bar for entry level DSLRs. The new Canon EOS 550D packs an 18MP APS-C sensor, much like the Canon 7D, can capture 1080p HD Movies and its ISO can now be set up to 6400 and 12800 in extended mode. The LCD screen resolution was also improved with 1,040k dots at 3 inches. Continuous shooting is rated up to 3.7fps. Exposure compensation can be set at +/-5 stops. There’s also an external microphone socket as well as a movie crop function. This is also a new feature, an iFCL metering System with 63-zone dual-layer metering sensor.
